A/C Compressor Question 87 300sdl
1987 300sdl A/C works like a champ. Several days ago I had the system evacuated and recharged. A few years ago I replaced the Klima relay and the Programa Climate Control. After I had it charged I was checking the system and I noticed that when the A/C is on the compressor never cycles on and off. I think it should cycle as it builds pressure in the system. If that is the case then I suspect that either a sensor or the Klima relay could be problematic.
Any ideas?

ForcedInduction,
I suspect that the Klima relay gets a message from someplace letting it know that the pressure is too high and then shuts disengages the compressor clutch. If that is right then what tells the relay that the pressure is too high.
