Default Best Practices for Using Teflon Fuel Hoses in Automotive Applications

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for advice on installing and maintaining fuel lines in high-performance vehicles. I’ve heard that using a teflon fuel hose can improve durability and chemical resistance compared to standard rubber hoses, but I’m concerned about flexibility and long-term reliability.

Are there specific brands or installation techniques that prevent leaks or kinks? Also, how does temperature fluctuation affect these hoses over time? Any tips on fittings, clamps, or compatible fuels would be really helpful.

I’d love to hear from anyone with hands-on experience.
