Default Battery changed, and now Window Problems

1999 E320 Wagon

I had to change my battery last week, when complete I had a problem with my power windows. The windows will go up and down, however the auto function of the switch is inop. If you press the switch hard the window will stop, when you let off it will continue up or down which ever direction you are going.

This could be a coincidence with the battery change, but I am stumped. Any help out there?

Thanks

You need to recal them, posibbly the sliding sunroof if installed, and the Stabilitysystem.
All of this is covered in the owners manual.

Try holding down the switch in the down position for a few seconds after the window is all the way down, if this works on one continue with nthe others
