Could someone enlighten me as to how the Autobox on say a pre 91 mercedes would change gear? I mean as to how it would decide to change.
Reason i ask is cos my 1990 500 SE is very smooth, but sometimes can slightly clunk into gear with a shud. Which is annoying. So im wondering if theres a way to smoothen the way the gear changes gear on a 1990 500.
