I have an intermittent squeaking noise when operating the AC or fan ('01C240). It is predominately occurring at low speeds. It appears to be coming from the dash area and not under the hood. The crazy thing, it will stop when the car is making a left turn, and only to the left. I have checked the P/S fluid. It appears okay. Anybody have any ideas what could be causing this squeak? I would appreciate any thoughts, thanks

 

Bad fan the bearing must be bad and when the car is making a left turn it shifts the weight causeing it not too squeek.

 

Thanks mbz300, that makes sense. Does anybody think this could be a DIY fix or know how to access the fan?

 

Can also be loose belt
