I've been getting alternator/battery malfunction code and had it checked today at local auto parts store and they said things looked ok with battery and alternator at time and I guess I need to take to car shop? Can someone tell me if this indicates alternator is going bad or what may be occurring?

 

Take it to an indy that can properly check the charging circuit and the battery.

 

I took it to shop and they diagnosed as bad alternator and battery, is it normal for both go bad at the same time?
