Bought a 1983 mercedes benz 300d turbo diesel and made it half way home and battery died. The whole car is stripped of most electronics. Radio, inside lights, alarms, speakers, etc. Car was fine wouldnt go over 30, then shut down at gas station. Any advice from anyone? Loose belts maybe?

 

Hello and welcome to the forum! A bit difficult to say - have you checked the battery to make sure it's keeping a charge? Alternator good? Does it turn over when trying to start it again?
