I have an 1989 560SL. The AC just quit about a month ago.Is there a fuse or relay, I found one fuse at the passenger door. I was OK. Any suggestions.

I'm not sure but my 300te is also an 89 and the a/c-heater stopped working a couple of weeks ago. I dont need the a/c but the heater right now would be helpful. For a day before complete failure it stopped when I was driving (the heater) and then I noted when I would stop at red lights it would kick on again, but once the accelorator was down again it would automatically shut off. Let me know what you find out, and I will do the same, Good luck and thanks.
