it is most likely the wires going to the sensors in the wheel. They are high voltage solid wires inside that crack from the inside and cannot be repaired. The sensor itself is pretty robust but the wires become brittle, unfortunately they cannot be purchased seperately. Sometimes the sensor can be removed and cleaned but this may not help. the sensors are about 100 dollars a piece but they will fix the problem. simply removing the ABS computer or pump relays will not shut the light off, the warning lights are wired in a fail safe manner, the light will remain on if any components are missing.
