Hello all,
My wifes 93 300D used to have trouble shifting from 3d to 4th when the temperature would drop below 35F, now it has gotten to have issues from 2nd to 3d it takes about 1/4 mile from house, and it took 2-3 miles to shift to 4th. Once the shift takes place all works well the rest of the day as new.
I am at a loss as to what look at as my diagnostic focus center. Any help and direction greatly apreciated.

how's the filter and fluid level?

Level is OK, the filter I have no idea, have not dropped the xmission pan to check it out.

Hello I noticed you issue with shifting on your transmission. I have similar problems with my 1992 300D 2.5T. It has 100k miles on it. I was wondering how you were able to rectify this problem, I took mine into a small shop and was told a rebuild was in order 5000$. Thanks.
