Default 87 420sel Will Not Start

Started the car after a show. Was cold outside. Car has been running fine. Started the car and drove a few blocks. Turned on my heater. Then turned on my rear defroster. Car suddenly died and now will not start. Have power in the car. Sounds like it wants to start but will not. Any ideas. OVP Relay? Engine disable activated?

Thanks!!!!!

maybe battery.

open the headlamps (high and low).

have somebody crank the engine and go to the front to see if the headlamp dims.

If starter willcrank engine over but it won't run:
Check for fuel (pump(s) may have quit; filter could be clogged); injection system must have 86 psi. Remember the pumps may not be running unless the starter is turning the engine (you can have someone feel the pumps, located inboard of the right-rear tire, while you are cranking, to see if they are running).
Check for spark.
When I bought my car, it would crank but would not run; I poured a small amount (couple of ounces) of gas into the air intake, replaced the air cleaner, and cranked; when it ran for a couple of seconds I knew then it was probably the fuel pumps. Farm-boy diagnostics.
If the engine will not crank (starter motor won't do anything), check battery and cables, neutral/park safety switch; starter. I suppose it could be a faulty ignition switch also, but not as likely.
Hope this helps. Be careful.

until now i still use this style on older engines.

but it is a bit modernized since i use the carburator cleaner spray.
