I have a 1991 420SEL. It cranks but won't start. However, if you spray some carburater cleaner, and keep cranking it for a few seconds, it starts up and then keeps running. However, if you shut it down, the same problem occurs. Can anyone please advise me as to what could be wrong?

Secondly, does anyone know any good and reasonable independent repair mechanics in the Hartford, CT area?
