The drivers side window will go down, but not up. Any suggestions on a fix?

 

open it and find out if the motor runs both ways

 

It sounds like a faulty switch. Try putting your ear against the door and operating the switch. If there is no noise, it is probably the switch. These can be taken apart and cleaned if you have any mechanical expertise.
