I have access to a 1981 300SD that has a great engine but the body is completely rusted. There is an 1983 300SD in town with a blown engine that the ownier has been selling parts off of it. The engine, instrument cluster, most of the interior and other misc. components are already gone but the body, suspension and the rest are still there.
Does anyone know if these two years are closely compatable to combine and make into one good car?
