i am removing the water pump on my 560sl....all the bolts have been removed except for the one on the very bottom of the pump..at first glace it appears the harmonic balancer is notched to allow access to this but but it does not line up. now i'm beginning to think that the balancer has to come off and the two notches are made for a puller arm......any input is helpful...thanks

 

just answered my own question.....when you remove the lower pully assembly...the balancer slides off...not pressed on..
