I was on a trip and everything was going well, stopped for lunch and when I got on the road AC quit. I checked and the 8A fuse in position 5 was blown. Replaced and same thing. I turn off climate control completely everything works and the fuse is OK. I pulled blower and tested it. It blew an in-line fuse but it took a couple of seconds.

I replaced the blower with a brand new OEM. Same problem. I tested it briefly (about 10 seconds) with 16A fuse and it got very hot bit did not blow so I shut down. Reading the fuse card there seems to be everything but the kitchen sink running off that small fuse. I would appreciate any direction on where to go next on the troubleshooting.
