300sd throttle sticks
Hi Guys, I'm new here. I have a 1984, 126 turbo diesel,270,00+ miles. I have a problem with the throttle sticking wide open. Not only is this hard on the engine, but it is a danger driving on the road. I think it is in the injection pump. It only happens when the engine is warmed up. Anyone else had this happen? I need help! Thanks Jeff

I have an 1985 300SD and did encounter a similar problem once. At one point while driving i had the cruise on and for some reason the engine went wide open. Shutting the cruise off stopped the issue. I'm not sure if this is helpful at all..but i thought i'd add in some input.
