300CD rear windows

Just purchased a 1978 300CD. Question - do the rear windows go all the way down, or are they limited due to space restrictions?

I have an 81. They go all the way down.

I have a 79 and the windows go all the way down. did press down the switch between the front and back window switches? I think this might be a child safety lock of some sort.
