300 e cooling system pressure

ive changed the radiator and the fan clutch on my car and it still seems to run a high operating temperature especially when idling and not moving, i also have a 16 pound radiator cap on it, help

Is it really running hot or just the gauge?
What about the pump itself. Maybe its heavily corroded (internally)
