280S 116 Series 1980. Power steering box problem
Hello All
My old 280 has the recirculating ball power steering. I get a strange 'click' when moving the steering on occasions and think its from the steering box. It has small leaks but occasional topping up keeps it running well. I'd like to investigate the sort of symptoms that might indicate possible problems that I might be running into.
Can anyone please help me with a way of checking this out?
Can a careful DIY person overhaul a box like this?
