Hi. I have a "clunk" in the steering gear of my Mbz. I jacked up the front end and the joint at the outboard end of the left tie rod has a lot of play when I wiggle the left front tire. So that has to be fixed. How can I check the rest of the steering? I'm concerned there may be some lesser play elsewhere. All the rubber bushings in the front suspension were replaced about 4 years ago.
