Iown 230 kompreser 2001 realy nice car owned for 4 years .have had a new starter moter fitted last week since then the car has become hard to start especialy when cold .The garage who fitted it said they had trouble with a earth lead which runs from the starter to just underneath the floor pan on the offside .They took it of cleaned it and refitted it this improved the starting but its still hard to start its as bif its not catching and then it might fire up on the 2/3 turn of key it sounds to me like its a bad contact but not sure has anyone out there had a similar experiance
