Just bought my first Mercedes and wanted to change the oil, but I can't find the filter. The parts guy said it's on top of the engine, but I can't find it. Any help would be great! Thanks!</P>


Also, where is the drain plug? I removed the plastic covers and I can see the oil pan, but it is covered by some kind of cardboard/fiberboard insulator that looks like it can only be removed by ripping it off. Anyone please! I think Mercedes just wants you to have to take it in for that $80 oil change.</P><edited><editID>Ghaz91</editID><editDate>37985.7043981481</editDate></edited>
