I have an 02 C-240 that is have an issue with shifting. Seems to get stuck in 1st gear.
The issue seems to be electrical, because you can turn off the ignition...restart and it will then work fine.

If anyone has had a sililar issue or may know what the issue may be...I would certainly appreciate your reply.

Get the transmission DTC (diagnostic codes) read at your dealer.
Also get trans fluid level checked.
This will provide more info.
