I posted again, but the Mercedes dealer tells me the instrument cluster needs replacing. I can get a used one but the MB dealers does not know if a used cluster that was cloned to one vehicle can be installed into mine! They say once cloned, never twice, but they have never done it. THe used one costs $500 whereas the new one costs $2400. Do you know if a cluster can be cloned again to another vehicle?
