2000 ML 320 89,000 Front Brake
2000 ML320 89,000 miles: Front brakes rapidly lock and unlock in turns.Problem first appeared in a sharp accelerated left turn onto an entrance ramp. The problem is more noticeable in a sharp left turn but can be ina right turn as well. The vehicle seems to skip during accelerated sharp turns. The front brake rotors become very hot very quicklyduring this time. The BAS/ETS light became intermittent.The diagnosis was a switch behind the brake pedal. Switch was replaced andproblem appeared to be solved. Within a few turns the problem returned. The front brake rotors are scoring severely and the back brake rotors are relatively smooth.Other than this, the vehicle seems to be performing very well. Instruction for correcting the problem is appreciated.[/align]
