1997 c230 oil change
Hi All,
I have a 1997 C230 (100,000 miles approx). I tried to change the oil (my first time to do it onthis car, but oil drain plug at bottom of oil pan will not budge. I hope it's the right drain plug. also i want to know what is the best oil viscpcity ( 10 - 30, 10 - 40 or ..) to use.. and yes does anybody know where the oil filter is on this model. Appreciate the Help.

Pump it out of the dipstick like the dealer does. Go to www.autosportscatalog.com or www.griotsgarage.com, or www.performanceproduct.com. They all sell pumps for this purpose. I do mine twice a year. Stripping the drain plug will cost you more in the long run. And the pumping method is a lot easier than crawling under the car.
