Hi everyone,
This is my fisrt post and I hope you guys can help me, most posts on the forums seem very helpful and kind.
So here is how it goes:
My car needed a new battery so I went to get a new one, I go to the local auto zone and so they try to install it for me, they, eithery being stupid or on accident, cross over the battery (now i know you guys will make comments on this, but please try to help, leave this fact alone) several times but dont have both terminals connected, it just sparked several times... They close their shop and I had not tried starting the carI was letting the wires cool and then try to connect them correctly. After I do, the car would crank fine but no start. The car had to be towed after 3 hours wait and 12:30 midnight I got home stressed and not knowing what to do. So i realized that it was the start out lock out feature. the two lights on the mirror are not working and the stereo is dead, both work with the alarm system. The number17 i think in the engine bay fuse spot is blown, the infrared remote system and everytime I put in a new fuse it blows instanlty. Everything else works... can i disable the anti-theft for now? is there a way around this? which control box isnt working? I had to go on my Christmas vacation with my Eclipse, the car is not staring :-( it wasnt as comfortable and fun...
Has anybody else have or seen a similar scenario and has been able to fix it?
