1994 e-320 rear rotor r&r
I have done lots of disc brake r&r on japanese and american cars but this one has me stumped. i got the rotor loose and ready to come off but there seems to be some spring tension on it and it will not come away. The caliper is off and the pads are easily replaced. I'm sure what I'm missing is the parking brake. Does anybody know how this comes apart? The rotors I ordered for replacement are of the solid type while the installed rotors are vented. Does this seem to pose any problems?
Thanks
Thanks
with the rear caliper off and and anchor bracket if any (make sure the parking brake is released)
with a big hammer babby sledge hit the center of the rotor where the lug bolts would go becarefull not to hit the center hub!!!! its probably just rusty and frozen on there it generally takes about 4-5 good wacks
try spraying alittle wd40 around center hub and rotor

if that dont work try loosening the parking brake shoes you can find the adjuster though the lug bolt hole
keep turning rotor till you find it then back it off maby with the after market cross drilled rotors they adjusted them then readjust like any other car
