Default 1990 300te cold tranny problem

have a 1990 300te 4-matic with a problem related to the tranny..i bought the mercedes benz e-class owner's bible and read about the same problem i'm having...when engine is cold..will not upshift until very high rpm...tranny is perfectly normal after that first shift...answer in book describes transmission wiring harness as being incorrectly installed on kickdown solenoid and upshift delay solenoid valves ."correct wiring harness connections on automatic transmission...see mb service information.....i downloaded a wiring schematic that includes the above mentioned valves, but where the hell are they located and what do they look like...i have access to a lift...i have owned the car for three years and its otherwise running perfect..even the 4-matic...any help would be appreciated..the two local dealers said i had to bring it in for an expensive "look" nick formica
