Hey,

I need to know how intense it is to change out the ignition on a 1983 300TD.....i guess that's what i need to do....if i leave the key in, i can turn it and crank it just fine, but if i pull the key out, then when i put it back in and try to turn, i have to try to turn it forever until it finally turns and cranks...

any help/advice would be very much appreciated.
