Hi there:
Just purchased 02 s430. The audio ( cd, radio, navig, etc..) is cutting out every 5 mins or so for about 4 seconds.
Any one experienced similar problem or know a fix?

first:
the software in your sound amplifier may need updating.

ask the dealer to update it to at least 34/03. (flashing)


the worst:
the telephone control unit might be faulty interrupting the sound 2-3 seconds.

you got nokia 6091?
read the series number by pressing *#06#
defective ones got serial numbers from 350109/20/038841/6 up to 350109/20/047721/9.

if your serial number is in between, then you need to replace the tel control unit. part number A 203 820 70 26.

The "problem" was with the phone. The phone had messages and the way the systems notifies of phone msgs would be to cut out the audio. After clearing the msgs in the phone, all worked ok.
