Default 300d

got a 84 300d td. would like to 5% black tint the windows (maybe like 25-30% windshield) paint it black. would like black wheels to finish the look. 5 x 112. im thinkin 5-7 spoke black wheels. any suggestions?

that may be true, however, they aren't tinted to the level at which i want. i don't want to be able to see inside the car during the day, hence the 5% reference

the 5% will be sufficient... if you try and do 25-30 on the windshield, you won't be able to see out at night... if you feel you have to do tint on the windshield... I would do 40-42% and then like 10% on the rest at most... you don't need 5% on the windows it you're doing the windshield...

the shape of the car (from what I can tell from my 240d) blocks out enough light honestly... so the 'look' feature (believe me I understand) is what you're going for... I've had an m3 with 4% all the way around and nothing on the windshield and I've had another with 40% on the windshield with a 4% 'sun strip' (not more than 6") and then 15% on the rest of the windows... and they looked almost the same except you couldn't see in the windshield of the second, but could see out better of all windows excpet windshield... whereas on first one you couldn't see out the back at night to park if in a regular parking lot, but could see out forward just fine... my .02
