on car parts . com I found a passenger door mirror for a 76 300d... would, it came up in the search for a 74 240d mirror... would this be the same fit/look? anybody know?

also... stupid question... but I never can remember... when describing the car 'side' - as in left/right mirror - do you determine the side you're looking for from being inside the car looking out the windshield so that left = driver and right = passenger? or is it from the outside front looking at the bumper so that left = passenger and right = driver?

 

k... makes sense then why there was only like seven for the right mirror and two pages for the left mirror - ideas on if the 76 300d mirror would fit the 74 240d and look the same?

 

ok... I'll keep looking... came up in the search on carpart so I figured I'd ask before someone at that yard was like 'yeah, it'll work'

 

anyone happen to have the passenger door mirror laying around that I might be able to purchase? lol...
