Still searching for that goofy sound. Where have you found your sound?
So I just cut the belt off that drives my A/C compressor. I still have a strange loud high-pitch sound when I go above low idle. I'm worried that this sound is coming from somewhere important, so I'm afraid to drive the car because I don't want to wreck anything. Could it be the vacuum pump? Power stearing? Where has anyone located their high pitch sound if they've had one?
