I have my engine out of the 1985 190D for head gasket repair and want to start it before I reinstall it to check for leaks. The engine starts for just a second and then stops. Is there something I need to connect to get this to run continuously outside the car? I will have video on Utube tonite.

Thanks, I did not use the glowplugs, I thought 93 degrees was hot enough to start without them.
