Question smoking

Good morning,
my name is mrea and have a problem with my 2015 GLK bluetec.
At 110,000 miles it started to smoke and have an ammonia smell. I'm not driving it right now
if someone can guide/help me to figure out and fix the problem, I'd really appreciate it...
thank you,
mrea

Hello and welcome to the forum Mrea. Before spending any money on parts, I would suggest that you try getting the error codes from the car. This can be done with a scan tool - a Mercedes mechanic will have one or perhaps an independent shop may have one as well. This should give you a good idea of where the exact issue is coming from. Please let us know if you have any questions.

I found that my GLK 250 Blue Tec is having issues with the emission system > according to the dealer> specifically with the ad-blue temp sensor. if anyone knows where is located and how to replace it, please help...

thanks, Mrea
