Default RE: 240D continueing

Good thoughts. I have ground down to bare metal all battery, including starter connections.
Oil is to the full mark.
The Battery is new. I am gooing to put a 200 amp charger on it to see if there is an improvement. The battery appears to be fully charged (almost 1000cca)
Pulling the starter tomorrow to have it tested. Does anyone know if 80 MB 300D starter fits the 240D? I have a complete 300D that I can use for some parts if needed.
Thanks again for your reply.

While the connections may be clean, the ground cable itself may have a bad spot. This is why you hook up a good cable (jumper cable) and bypass it.
