I turned my key off and pulled it out and my engine kept running. I did it a few times and shut it off under the hood. I killed it like three times and now it shuts off as it should. Is there some sort of relay or something that may be going out?

Thanks jimi I'll check those. My Hanes book says it is the "fuel system cut off solenoid" All it says to correct it is to kill it manually under the hood. No other mention of it is to be found. Anyone know about this thing?
Or is it operated by vacuum lines?

 

My 87 300D is controled by vacuum. When it happend to me was after playing under the hood and knocked off a vacuum line.
