Long-term effects of biodiesel and SVO
Hello people,
I have noticed that opinions diverge quite considerably on this topic and that there are basically three groups:
1. The biodiesel advocates: They say that you should generally prefer biodiesel to any form of SVO.
2. The clean SVO fraction: They say that biodiesel is aggressive and can destroy seals and that you should therefore use clean refined vegetable oil, because used oil contains too much water and acid.
3. The frying oil rednecks: They say that you can pour filtered used vegetable oil into the tank without any problems if you have a car with an older diesel engine, for example an engine with pre-chamber combustion.
All groups have good theoretical agruments, which is why it would be interesting to read about practical long-term experiences, especially from group no. 3. Thanks.
