Injection pump, what am I missing?
Hello good people of MercedesForum.com! First post, so please be gentle 
My step daughter just received her first car from her dad and it is a 1984 300SD. We are in the process of going over it and making sure it is roadworthy for her. I noticed that there is something missing off of the top of the injection pump, and part of it is tied off. Please help with the missing piece? Here is the pic...
