I was wondering if I could replace my '85 300D injection pump with a '83 300SD engine injection pump. '84 and '85 pump has a three wired connection from a little aluminum box to the back of it.
Is there anyone know about it"
All I know is that '84 and '85 300D or SD have a turbo charger with 3 HP more with a larger oil filter.

If nay one explain to me why the '83 one could not work or would work.
