help! 81' 300cd no low beam
#2
Well it could be that the low beam part of the light is burned out.
(I just discovered an opposite but similar issue on my Van tonight. Low Beam works but the High Beam dose not on one Head light. I am expecting to find that the High Beam part of the Light is burned or broken and that the problem will be fixed by installing a new Head Light.)
There is several ways to trouble shoot to see what is wrong.
If you can see the Filiments inside of the light see if one is burned up or gone. If so replace the light.
You could swap the head Lights. If the Bad One is still bad when it is put on the other side you need to replace the light.
If the Light you know was good is now bad after you swapped it; you have some issue with your wiring. Often the Electrical Connectors are corroded inside and not conducting electricity.
Anoter way is to probe the Electrical Connector with a Volt Meter or an Electrical Test Light to see if there is any Electrical out put.

Diesel9112,
Thanks to your input... I found it!! problem corrected. Although still loose, I know where the problem is.... loose wire connection at the connector located behind headlight mount far left corner between the corner light and headlight brackets.
Thanks....
