help!!!!!!!!!!!!! 1982 300d!!
So i'll start out by saying i have an '82 300d turbodiesel. I let my brother use the car for a few months and he absolutely RAN IT IN THE GROUND! When i got it back it had power loss issues(lost 40-70% of the speed as soon as i come to an inline,), giant dent in the rear driver side fender, broken passenger window(it managed to get sat crooked in the door, and persistant rolling up and down eventually busted it) glow plug light indicator doesn't come on, vaccum leaks out the ***, door locks dont unlock automatically, air only blows out the driver side vent and defrost, car doesnt shut off until 3-5 seconds after the key is removed, odometer works inconsistanly, and last but not least it overheats tremendously. Within 15-30 minutes of driving.
What i have done so far is replace the inline fuel filter which almost cured the power loss issues. Replaced some vacuum lines to fix the delayed shutoff, it worked somewhat, but stil takes about 1 or 2 seconds to shutoff. Flushed the radiator and replaced the thermostat. While flushing it, the rafiator made a burping noise which i suspect was air leaving the coolant lines that caused over heating. After a few test drives i felt comfortable with it and thought it could manage the 1 hour drive to school on the interstate, which it did. 70 + mph speeds with hills( i live in the ozarks with plenty of steep
hills to drive up). Speed never dropped below 60 and the temp gauge stayed between 80 and 100. After i left school the car done fine, until i startdd driving through the town up hills at slow speeds with no air flow on a HOT day. Drove it to a friends house after it pegged the temp gauge. Let it cool off and drove home, started over heating again so i turned on the heater. after i turned the car off i opened the hood waited for the smoke to stop pouring out and seen oil bubbling out from aroun the injectors, smelled awful. Replaced the spin on fuel filter after i filled it with diesel. Now it will not start. Turns over but no matter what i do it wont start. Please help! Im in college so money is tight and this car is a family heirloom which i have to restore and keep

Loosen the Fue Injection Line Nuts at the Injectors and crank the Engine to bleed the Air out of the Lines. Tighten the Nuts and attempt to start.
Combustion gasses from a bad Head Gasket or cracked Head can get into the Coolant passages and keep the coolan from circulating in some parts of the Cooling System.
One of the Symptoms is after driving the Car and the Car as sat for severl hours and cooled off when you squeeze the Radiator Hose it will be hard and inflated.
