fuel pump flow rate?
I'm looking for a table that describes the flow rate that the fuel injection pump for a 617.952 (81 5 cyl. turbo diesel) engine pushes at X rpm. I'm not interested in simply how much the engine consumes, but total amount of fuel moved through the injector lines per min. Anybody have this information, or know where to find it?

The above is ture. Bosch supplies the Fuel Injection Calibration information only to Authorized and certified Bosch Shops.
In order to get the info you would have to get Friendly with someone that works in a Bosch Fuel Injection Shop. They might give are sell you the info.
The nearly impossible possible is if some Film Fisch became available on eBay from a Fuel Injection Shop going out of business.
Also on older Fuel Injection Pump specs you are going to get specs with cc/1000 strokes at X rpm. When I Calibrated Fuel Injection Pumps on the Test Stand I set the counter for 1000 strokes while the Test Stand was runing at the specified rpms and hit the button and the Stand would divert the flow comming out of the Injectors into Graduates that Measured Cubic Centmeters of Fuel. When 1000 strokes was completer the Test Stand cut off the Fuel to the Graduates and you read the amount in each Graduate (one for each Fuel Injection Pump Element).
Also in the past the Specs for all Fuel Injection Pumps were written for use of Test Injectors with specific Nozzles in them or someting called Nozzle Plates. Using injectors with different Nozzles causes the specs to be off.
I only worked one place where they had a Test Stand with Flow Meters and do not remember enough about it to comment.
