300d 1990
Hello everyone,
Im looking at buying a 1990 300d automatic, whats the info on this engine?
Im assuming it's not turbocharged, is it a 2.5 or 3.0? The sources I have read contradict each other!
Whats the power output of this engine, and anybody know of its mpg figures?

I have a 1991 that is a 2.5 turbo diesel and I am fairly sure that the 1990 is the same engine. I get approximately 36 mpg on the highway and about 27 mpg around town. This is well above what MB said I would get. I have 300k miles without any issues other than maintenance.
