1990 300d 2.5 Aux Fan/Temp
Hello all. I have been reading for a while and enjoy the information recieved. I have used several pieces of info and learned from the others.
My 1990 300d 2.5 seems to run a little hotter than normal or than I would like. I bought the car 15 years ago, sold it to my uncle and bought it back last year. When he owned it he put in a smaller radiatior (??) and also had the auxillary fan replaced another time.
The temp varies between 80C and up near 100C. The aux fan, when I can hear it, on occassion comes on and off repeatedly. As in on for a few seconds, then off, then on again.
Any thoughts to that would be appreciated?
