Default fuel line

I have been on a quest to tighten-up my fuel system in preparation to switch to WVO. My 79 still has the orginal braided lines (I believe they are injector bleed lines?) that run from injector to injector. They have a very small inside diameter- non-metricly I would say that they look just shy of 1/8"ID. Is there a type of hose I can use that I can use for this? Marine diesel application? Are hose clamps needed/recommended? There are none.

Default RE: fuel line

I buy that hose at a parts house for imports. If you use the same braided line then no clamp is required. As a matter of fact with the proper line you can not hardly pull the line off the injector --- the little barbs hold it really well. You can also buy the hose by the foot from buymbparts .com or youcan get a kit already cut at www.mercedessource.com ........................ Your choice. This hose is not very hard to replace and the proper hose will last another 15 to 20 years.

Have fun.
