Default Electrical

Although not directly related to the diesel engine I am having trouble diagnosing a turn signal inop problem on my 84 300sd. Basically yesterday I checked my fuse box to figure out why my dash and console lights are not working when all the fuses were verified as good I closed the box and now my turn signals no longer work. I then swapped out the relays and still nothing. My horn does work which I am told is on the same fuse/circuit. Anyone have any ideas??

Did you physically remove the fuse in question from the fusebox to check? Sometimes these ceramic fuses show good with a tester or test light, butwhenyou remove them from the fusebox the conductor stripfalls apart. Also check your chassis ground in the engine bay. It should be a 10mm bolt attached near the front fender with a bunch of brown ground wires bonded to it.
