I'm really close to buying a 1999 E300 CDI with 74K miles on it. The dealership tells me there are two bad glow plugs and that I should replace all of them. We agree on that point but I don't on the $900 charge to do it. I'm a fairly good mechanic and I've replaced the glow plugs on my 1984 300D without issue. Can anyone tell me what's involved with changing the glow plugs on an E300?
